The Women's Development Centre (WDC)
- The WDC is an organization which works to improve the standard of living of women and children in Sri Lanka. iThe Women’s Development Centre strives to minimize the number of women who are subjected to violence by empowering them through access to knowledge and greater economic independence.

Spectacle Recycling Project
- A special event was held on the 25th July 2010, at Duwegoda Sri Sudarmaramaya temple in Kaluthara district of Sri Lanka. The event was the redistribution of spectacles to the people in the area who could not afford adequate eye care. It was a huge success and about 250 people from the local district attended. This project is due to be continued as one of the charitable projects that Pragathi Cafe are involved in.

Refuge
- We are committed to a world where domestic violence is not tolerated or ignored and where women and children can live in safety. Refuge's network of safe houses provides emergency accommodation for women and children when they are most in need.
